QCares is Quadwave’s way of inspiring employees to account for environmental and societal impact of our activities, rather than merely focusing on our core business. It helps us to enrich the quality of life of our community and preserve the balance through a firm environmental conscience.
QCares started this initiative at several levels in organizations just a few blocks away from the Quadwave office. The work we do here includes arranging mid-day meals, donating computers, planting trees and celebrating Christmas and other events.
QCares is Quadwave's way of making the world a better place!

What we do
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give”
- Winston S. Churchill.
QCares started by helping out the children at the Jeevan Bima Nagar Government School and WARDS, an organization for non-profit that provides support to individuals suffering from autism, cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities and mental retardation identified from various slums in Bangalore. Some of the beneficiaries of QCares are PAPCP, a registered not-for-profit NGO catering to personal and vocational needs of differently-abled young adults and APD.
QCares is constantly looking for ways to improve the quality of life of the children in these organizations. As part of the QCares activities, students of the Jeevan Bima Nagar Government School have received several donations and have benefited tremendously. QCares is open to working for any noble cause that comes our way.
There is no definite set of rules that defines how we work. QCares is the medium through which everyone at Quadwave can give back something to the society. Whether it is donating food, clothes and computers or doing clean ups and celebrating Christmas, QCares has been actively involved.
One of the interesting ways in which QCares has helped various NGOs is by creating and maintaining their websites and managing their social presence. QCares also regularly brainstorms and comes up with activities for children, entertaining, educating and encouraging them. At QCares, we understand the value of time, and how much it matters to these children that we spend it with them. We have found a way to show we care. Whether it is arranging for mid-day meals, clothes and computers or doing clean ups and celebrating Christmas, QCares has been actively involved.
In our busy lives, there's hardly a moment to take a breather and look around us, at the world that is rushing by. The time spent with QCares, goes to prove that in giving to others, we are also rewarded. After all, what can be better than the genuine smile of gratitude on the face of a child? Nevertheless, all these small acts of charity, spending time and providing food and clothing, have definitely had a positive impact on our lives as well.
WARDS takes care of people who are suffering from autism, multiple disabilities etc. Lalitha is one such girl who is non-verbal and visually challenged. WARDS changed her life. With the support of the people at WARDS she created her own special sign language. She helps at the vocational center to make envelopes and greeting cards.

PAPCP is an NGO that caters to personal and vocational needs of differently-abled young adults. PAPCP gives a platform to these people to showcase their capability. They make different kinds of candles, occasional greeting cards etc. PAPCP helps them sell these products so that these people can live with dignity. In the “Go Green” initiative by QCares, volunteers cleaned up the PAPCP grounds and planted trees.

Many kids from the Jeevan Bima Government School walk to school without footwear. Qcares provided Bata shoes to these kids so that they could walk to school comfortably. After getting the shoes there was a genuine smile on the face of each of the kids.
